Transfer Policy

OJAS ONE Academy understands that circumstances change. This policy outlines the rules for transferring between batches, programmes, or sessions. All transfers are subject to seat availability and management approval.

1. Types of Transfers Permitted

  • Batch Transfer: Changing from one batch timing to another within the same programme (e.g., morning to evening batch).
  • Programme Transfer: Moving from one programme to another (e.g., from Crash Course to Long Term batch), subject to eligibility criteria of the target programme.
  • Session/Year Transfer: Deferring enrolment to the next academic session due to medical or personal reasons.

2. Eligibility for Transfer

  • A transfer request may be made only after completing a minimum of 30 days in the current batch, except in cases of medical emergency.
  • Students with outstanding fee dues are not eligible for transfer until all dues are cleared.
  • Transfer to a higher-fee programme requires payment of the difference in fees before the transfer is processed.
  • Transfer to a lower-fee programme does not entitle the student to a fee refund; refer to the Refund Policy.

3. Batch Transfer

  • Batch transfers are permitted once per academic session, subject to availability in the requested batch.
  • No additional fee is charged for a batch-timing transfer within the same programme.
  • The request must be submitted at least 7 days before the desired transfer date.

4. Programme Transfer

  • Programme transfers are permitted only within the first 60 days of the current programme's commencement.
  • A transfer processing fee of ₹1,500 is applicable for programme-to-programme transfers.
  • The student's academic progress and attendance will be reassessed to determine suitability for the target programme.

5. Session Deferral

  • Session deferral is permitted for medical reasons (supported by a doctor's certificate) or unavoidable personal circumstances.
  • Deferral requests must be submitted at least 15 days before the next session begins.
  • Fees paid will be credited towards the deferred session; no cash refund is issued.
  • Only one deferral per enrolment is permitted. If a student is unable to join in the deferred session, normal refund rules apply.

6. How to Request a Transfer

  1. Visit the Admissions Office or email admissions@ojasone.com with subject line "Transfer Request – [Student Name] – [Enrolment No.]".
  2. Provide: Student name, enrolment number, current programme/batch, requested programme/batch, and reason for transfer.
  3. Attach supporting documents if applicable (e.g., medical certificate for deferral).
  4. The Admissions team will respond within 5 working days with approval or an alternative suggestion.

7. Academy's Discretion

OJAS ONE Academy reserves the right to approve or decline any transfer request based on operational requirements, batch capacity, or academic suitability. The Academy's decision shall be final.
